Everine van de Kraats

Dr van de Kraats studied Medical Technical Computer Science at Utrecht University (NL). She has a PhD in medical imaging from University Medical Center Utrecht (NL). For four years she was a clinical scientist for cardio vascular applications at Philips Healthcare. After that she joined the Sino-Dutch Center for Personalized and Preventive Medicine at Leiden University (NL) to scientifically build the bridge between Traditional Chinese Medicine and Systems Biology. She continued as head of research at ViaLight Research (NL) where her team investigated water functionality for health and agriculture using numerous research methods and instruments. Her interest has grown towards using near-infrared spectroscopy with aquaphotomics approach to study water systems. She is active in creating an international aquaphotomics society.
